GRAAL 2021

The GRAAL will take place on the 11th Septembre 2021 at La Berra, in Gruyère (Fribourg).

Registrations are open until 29th August 2021.

GRAAL: Grand Raid Aventure de l’Arc Lémanique

The GRAAL is a classic multisports adventure race, combining orienteering, mountain biking, running and sometimes water-based activities and rollerskating. Along the race, you will find surprise activities, which will add to the adventure and allow you to gain ‘time bonuses’.

The GRAAL has three categories:

  • GRAALopin, for first timers, to discover adventure racing and for kids;
  • intéGRAAL, for adventurers seeking some adrenaline;
  • GRAALmageddon, for experts and athletes ready for a sweat;

Solidarity is the first rule in the GRAAL, and you will compete in teams of two. Choose your partner as you wish! Teams of women, men, mixed, and even parents with kids are welcome!

The GRAAL aims to be as eco-friendly as possible and respectful to the environment. Our team at Wapiho only collaborate with companies and partners that respect our engagements. For example:

  • we order our T-shirts at Ecographic in Lutry, a local company sharing the same ethical concerns as Wapiho, only using eco-friendly energy, ink and fabric;
  • food offered to participants is local and organic;
  • we ask all participants to minimise single use plastic by using their own reusable cup and bowl at the aid stations; 
  • we only use reusable crockery.
  • encourage participants and volunteers to be eco-responsible during the race;
  • encourage participants to use public transport or car-share.
